vehicle information center

I recently bought a 1993 Grand Wagoneer, It has the vehicle imformation in the dash. When I bought it, it siad "300 miles to next service". Now it says "Perform Service".
My question is, Does it need to go to a dealer or just change the oil? If it's just the oil then how do I reset the Info Center? Any help will be appreciated

Actually the oil change can be done anywhere.This msg is just to remind you of the requried service.To reset this after the service:
With the key in the "on"/not started position.Hold in the select and set buttons at the same time until service interval comes up(3000 miles,4000miles etc.) ,select yours and you are good to go.Mine shows in km/miles as yours does too.I change mine around 4000+/-kms (about 2400miles). Higher mileage grands lose oil between oil changes.I was going through near 2 liters+.Lucas oil treatment to top up the level and <6months later, I am <1 liter
