Anyone know any good trails in New England

I'm just starting to wheel and I dont really know any where good to go. Right no I just spend my time playing snow feilds and finding lame trails.

Thats how most of us start out. Do you have a favorite place to camp or what not? Look for trails around places your somewhat familar with at first. look for people in your area that 4wheel and know some good trails to do starting off or what not.

I live near the Adirondacks. Don't know what part of Mass you're from, but there are plenty of trails here. What I just got is the DeLorme Atlas and Gazetteer for New York. It's a big Rand McNally-type atlas that's really a topo map. They may have them for Mass too. Anyway, if you look at the "dotted line" roads you will see in very fine print "4x4" next to many of them. Those are the trails you want. I'm not into rock crawling since my Jeep is also a daily driver. But my son and I just spent the last two days marking the atlas up and we've come up with over a 100 trails to check out. We like to fish, so there's a double bonus to all of it. BTW, I found the atlas in Walmart, so it should be readily available. Good luck!
