i have a '78 cj-7 and i'm having problems with my fuel gauge(it doesn't work). i think the wiring is wrong but i bont know. there is power going to the tank but its a pulse instead of a steady streem of power. can someone help me? :12:

Etta, Kudzu is right about posting your question in the CJ forum. HOWEVER... If you ARE Etta James and you'll PM me I'll go to where ever you are currently calling home and fix that damned gauge no matter how long it takes if you'll let me hug you after you sing 'At Last' to me. Man, EXPLAIN this Etta thing would you, PLEASE?...

thanks for the help everyone. myrtle, i'm not etta james. etta james is just is my favorit singer and "At last" is the song that my wife and i danced to at our wedding. thanks again all, talk to you soon. :thumbs:

If both temp and fuel gauges don't work and they are hooked up correctly they are both fried. If you hook the 12+ and the 5+ up backwards you smoke up instantly
