when i received my jeep, the right reverse lamp was out. yesterday i changed both of them and i tested them and they work. the computer says it is still out. i tried pressing set and select at the same time and holding but it still didn't work. what should i do?

try disconnecting the battery for 5 minutes to reset the computer.

thanks. that won't reset anything else right? for instance the computer says i've got about 1700 miles until an oil change will it reset that too?

alright as i type this my battery is disconnected and hopefully it should work

Make sure you are using the right type of bulbs; this problem has been on the boards before, and I have run into this problem once too.
