cruise aint workin

hey yall i recently switched from a YJ to a ZJ and im lovin my V8 its a 94 with the 5.2 and the leather interior which is a huge change for a 89 wrangler with 35's and 7 inches of lift with 4.56 gears then to a 95 rio grande with a 4 banger but enough bout that my cruise control isnt working when i first got it i tried it and it worked once but after that it hasnt worked since so help me out on the suggestions and i woudl really appreciate it :roadkill:

gotta start with the basics, fuses. then you will need help to test the wires to the control until to see if its getting power when the switches are hit. the brake light switch is also connected to the unit, which is why cruise shuts off when you hit the brakes. if there is a short in that part of the switch it wont allow the cruise to activate.

When the speed control no longer works I would look into 4 possible culprits.

Number 1) reason could be a Fuse, as easy as a $0.30 consult your owner?s manual for location.

Number 2) Faulty switch in the control stock this part is not more than $100.00

Number 3) The Speed sensor has gone out a tad more expensive.

Number 5) The Servo has failed this is the most expensive solution could run to several hundred dollars. Is there anything else not functioning?
