to buy or not to buy

New at this so be kind. Looking at buying a 1964 J-200 pickup. It runs but needs some body and floorboard repair. Seller wants $500.00 just wanting to know what you all think. I haven't been able to find much info on the j-200. I don't know what parts are available or much info about the J-200. Any information would be great. Thanks

i'll tell ya what . If I knew where that truck was you'd be walkin man. Hell yea.. a Jeep truck that you can start up and drive home IS DEFINITELY worth 500 clams ole buddy.....now as far as parts I dunno NAPA fer sure and maybe check out some web sites about the fullsize Jeeps...gotta be some good stuff out there on the old WWWEB...ya know?! So go for it. Them old GLADIATOR'S were so cool..all rugged and tough..a REAL METAL dash ..something you can bang yer teeth on.....If only they made TRUCKS again.
The floor boards are an ez fix..just go git a coffee can or a road sign the county don't need anymore(they just leave them out on them posts for our convience) and fill them holes. Buy ya some beeg floor mats...INSTANT FIX!!!
