you guys have been great. i don't have working a/c in my zj. i took it in to see how much it would cost. my compressor isn't working and its gonna have to be replaced, so will my evaporator core. for labor and parts and everything its gonna cost my about 1200. is that a good deal? i hear it is

i know evaporators cost about 700$ area to replace. do you know that the compressor is bad. in michigan we only use ac about 3 mos of year, but im sure you need it.

I just replaced the evap core and dryer in my TJ yesterday it cost me 1100 if you can do it yourself which really isn't hard if you know what your doing you can pick a evap core up at advance auto for about 200. You might as well replace the dryer too since your doing the compresser also but for 1200 for everything thats a pretty good deal

the guy was gonna replace both of them for 1200. yes, we NEED a/c in texas, especially houston. it's almost winter and i don't have a job so i'm gonna wait until spring when i got the cash. thanks guys, i wanted to make sure it was a good deal.
