To junk or not

Hey I am new here. I have a 1951 Willis Overland jeep stationwagon. The guages all work, it has 17K on the clock. It belonged to my grandfather who used it to fish in Fla. It was left out for 5 years and is now rusted pretty bad. I have had it in my garage now for 15 years. I would like to have some work done to this jeep but I just do not know where to go or where to start. I don't really want to go back to origional and really think the Willis project on the TV show was great. Is it possible to purchase a copy of the show(s) and a list of the venders they used for the project? Thanks for your help.

I had a friend just do one of those wagons all he did is a spring over and put 33 inch tires on it. Looked great !!!! It was very nice when I sold it to him (Stupid me :doh:). He left the 6 cyl in it and it worked just fine,I think he has planes to put in a 318 Dodge (hes a Dodge guy). If you want more tire room in the back you can use fender openings out of a willys panel wagon they are cut up alot higher than the window wagon. Post some pics Id love to see it.
