windshield wiper info

Does any body know if you can take all of the wiper motor and stuff out of a 76 and newer windshield frame and put it in a 75 and older frame??

I don't know for sure... but the '75 is mounted outside and the 76/up is mounted inside... seems like the motors face opposite directions...

I know that the motors are on oppsite sides of the windshield, I was wondering if you can just turn then around??
