cj3a carburetor

I have a 1950 CJ3A that has an original WO carburetor that has seen its last days. It has been rebuilt a dozen or so times and have been told it is unrebuildable. I would like to replace it with a new one (had my fill of rebuilts) but I have had trouble finding a new WO carb, but find plenty "Solex design" ones. My question is- is the Solex design a "drop in" replacement for the WO carb where all the holes, linkages, and hoses are the same?

Solex is an easy replacement, and very good.
