well, today I decided to finally fix my choke, so I do not have to pop the hood and adjust it every start up, then again at the first stop sign. I guess people just can't wait the minute it takes for me to hop out and un choke it.

so I am ripping off all the parts of the auto choke. so I can run a cable right to the butterfly, instead of through a conversion on the old auto choke. (too much binding)
I notice there is supposed to be a linkage between the choke butterfly and the secondary on my carb. it is completely missing, just the two holes.
perhaps this is why it has so little high end power?

    anyway, just felt like sharing.

Is this a Rochester carb or a Weber?
Not that I have the info at my finger tips right now.
