  • 360 Swap ??

    I just came across a rebuilt 360. I need to know the pro's and con's of this swap. Right now I have a 258 in there. Far as I know, all this 360 needs is a carb and some exhaust.

    Need some advice here.

    You will need to change motor mounts, there has been some additional post on this subject, the fuel line will also have to be run to the other side. What transmission are you going with? I just did a 258 to 304 swap on my 79 CJ-7

      I've got a T 18 in there now so strength shouldn't be an issue.

      So Flywheel, clutch, passenger side motor mount, and exhaust.

      That shouldn't be too much to handle

          I've got a 3 core already in there as well. I guess my post was pretty vague

          I'll need a flywheel(if this motor doesn't have) passenger side mount, and exhaust. Any ideas on what exhaust would cost to have built???
