  • Front differential seal?

My front differential seal is leaking at the yolk.
Is this a simple seal to change or is there a crush bearing I need to worrie about?

    Thanks in advance

Very simple on my Dana 30. Remove drive shaft ubolts (or other), remove drive shaft, remove bolt in center, remove yoke, pop out seal, put in new, tighten till it feels good. No slack, no friction, don't forget to feel for excess play before you start, you may need a new pinion bearing or it may be as simple as tightening the nut on the pinion gear shaft.

you could probrably do it yourself, if you just wheeling around a little i would do it myself, if you were driving 50 miles a day in the winter in 4x4 on the highway then i would have someone else do it.....
