  • CJ Spring Over pictures

Does anyone have pictures of the front end of a completed spring over in a CJ?

I am replacing the narrow axles in my '78 CJ7 (w/ a weak 4" lift) with wide trac axles from an '85 with 4.10 and Ox Lockers installed. I want to go spring over but am curious about problems with the steering components and how they will fit and operate after a front end SO.

A picture would clear it all up for me.

Here's a link to a spring over thread on cj offroad a few years ago! http://www.cjoffroad.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=5166 It's got a few good pics in it!

Thanks! A true Highsteer conversion is the way to go, but my steering works very well and has held up great. Its not my DD and I keep the heims lubed and inspect everything often.
