    ready to make my dash, i was thing of going with autometer ultra light gauges. i saw that checker carries some gauges that look alot like the autometer kind. i think there called equus, anyone know anything about these. thanks 1tuffcj.

    i used the nordskog digital gauges. i've had them rained on and they're still ticking great after about 4 years.

          one gauge does all that, do you have any pics of your dash. what about painless wiring is it compateble.

            I am considering the digital route. Tallying all the sending units and gauges it is getting pricey $738.92 + shipping. Whew!...
            I don't know? I guess I will be asking for gift certificates to 4wd hardware for X-mas.

                    i can tell you NOT to install the top 2 gauges were there at lol ,little something like defrost,omy

                    but i got it to work

                      thanks. other than the price they're great. turns a lot of heads when you're driving with the doors/top off at night. people see the old jeep with that in it and it gives it a cool look. if i had it to do over again i'd do it the same way.

                      nice how i have oil pressure when the motor isn't even running.

                        Equus is a good cheap gauge, but they are not affiliated with Autometer. They are not bad for the price, but not really good either.

                        For the CJ I wouild go with either the Autometer, Digital like Fubar or order the white face overlays for the stock gauges off ebay.

                          thanks for all the imput you guy's fubar very nice, i've never been a big fan of the digi look even on my whatches. but after seeing how they look on your dash, could be digi we'll see. most be fun driving at night. horselaff nice dash looks like you mixed it up with old school and new school, sweet. are those auto meter ultra lite gauges. p.s just got home from work you guy;s are all problely in dream land.lol fubar i just looked at them on the site and i have 1 question, how are they during the day, i only drive at night about 5% of the time. and i don't plan on putting a top on, maybe a bikini top sometimes. and it sunny out most of the time, how's the glare factor, honestly. thanks mikey

                              well i decided to go with autometer ultra light i think they'll look good up against the aluminum dash and console. now i have to make the rest of the dash/console.
