  • Gauge size

I've done all the searching I can and I must be blind. What size are the oil pressure and volt gauges in the dash? Also I want to replace the speedo, I'll probably be using Autometer. What I need to know is, what does replacing the fuel gauge entail. I've read about people having to calibrate it and having the correct ohms. I could really use some advice on this. I don't mind doing the work but I don't want to have to do it twice.

Well I think mine are 2" and from the web page.
      They also say 2".
As for calabration it is not hard if you have the tank out. You will need to get the sender out to do it.
The specs are in this board someware as I and others have typed them in many of times.

Autometer sells a fuel gauge that works with the Jeep sending unit - 73 Ohms empty and around 10 Ohms full. There's no need to calibrate.
