    All-
Have got conflicting replys ...and want to make sure. New Weber carb to replace the crappy one. Do I or do I NOT need to do the nutter bypass as I replace the carb? Isn't the computer out of the loop once it's unplugged anyway, or is it a timing issue also? Just want to make sure before I go down the path and trash all the emission stuff.

I don't think you HAVE to do it...but it will clear up a LOT of clutter.
If you are not going to do this for a few days (weekend?) I can do some quick research...should have an answer in a day or two..too tired right now.

I have a whole cd full of info that came with my motorcraft 2100 conversion kit. I just gotta dig thru it and find the info.

Not sure if this is at all in your plans but a little while back I installed a weber carb and a DUI HEI ignition system. This allowed me to bypass the computer and eliminate much of the clutter under the hood. I hove been very happy with the results. Just something to consider.

Ok, I looked thru: you may as well to the bypass.
I also did the TFI upgrade and very much recommend either this or an HEI.
AS for directions, there are better sets on the web with pics I don't have.
