In simpliest terms(Nutter), if your Jeep had a computer, Purple and Orange wire come off dizzy and head to computer....same color wires come off ignition module...clip all four and purple to purple, and orange to orange. Takes the computer out of the loop so you can "manually" tune the Carter. Results go from a ton better, a little better, or about the same....typically way better performance above 3000RPM...I am a simpleton so a simple answer. There are so many pictures if you just Google it and a million posts in this forum to include ones from my knuckhead self...The big issue is the timing needs to be redone right after.
