  • Got Grinder and Sawzall Happy Again

well i got bored today cause i can not drive my jeep due to holley having me send my carb to them so they can build me one for my motor (tweaking another model truck avenger)... so as i was looking at my fenders in my garage i was like hmm, now would be the perfect time to cut em (since they are not on the jeep currently) so yeah the first pic is a couple months ago when i was shortening my bumper and replacing the transmission again (using as a reference as to how much 8 inches actually is when cutting it off a fender)

Nice, working in the shop with flip flops on.
I bet you got toes of steel.
My big feet would be black and blue if I did that.

So did you drop and occasional weld/cutting splatter or part to make him dance?

no...haha he has gotten smarter about shop safety since i got him into the jeep thing, he knows now that when i start using the torch, grinder, welder, sawzall or any other hot, sharp, dangerous tool...if he has on shorts and flip-flops to step back about 15 ft. after his first experience helping me he knows to pay better attention to what is being used! the first time he didnt know any better, and i was using a cutting torch, had a big hunk of metal drop on the concret and bounce around eventually landing right inbetween his toes, lets just say i have never seen him jump and run that fast...took about 5 seconds to get outa the garage and over to the pond on our property, lol.
