  • Best place to buy a RV cam for a 258?

Well I am about half way into my engine after a lifter failure and got thinking. Im only a timing cover away from putting a new cam in. So I am in the market for a RV cam. Anybody know where to buy one? I have been all over the internet and found alot of them for the V8's but not much luck on the 6 cylinder.

Thanks now I just need to figure out which one to get.
I like the RPM range on this one.

Then again this one says good for 4wd.

The other worries me because it says it is good for gas milage. Dont really want that. I want more low end grunt.

well since the second has more open valve time it's going to give you more power. you just have to worry about overlap where the intake and exhaust are open at the same time. i'm not a cam expert, just know some basics. personally, i went with the edlebrock cam in my 304.

Im running a clifford cam 264 duration. I like it it gives some midrange nice for road driving and still has some neck snapping torque. not sure on all th specs you could call em up and see what they say but ill put an eye out and look for the spec sheet.
