    Anybody had a crank ground lately, I had one just done (258 I6) and it cost $265 with 20 mains and 30 rods that seemed a little high too me? or is it just me (handled by mechanic I didnt know anything till I got it back)

    No wonder it cost so much! That must be a heII of an engine, by my calculations a 30 cylinder one.........?

        Paid 400 to have my crank cut .030/.030 and the whole rotating assembly balanced. Machinist I deal with does most of the competition cranks in town and has the newest equipment.
