  • Edelbrock performer manifold question

On the rear side of my performer manifold there is a threaded hole about 3/4 inch in diameter. Can anyone tell me what this is for? It is a non EGR model. I just can't figure out what would thread in there.

    Thanks.

It is a vacume port. If your going to use a truck avenger carb you have to plug it off cause the rear bowl is directly above it. I put a brass plug in mine.

if it is in the runner to the head it is a vac port just plug it
if it is in the rear courner it is for your heatre hose
this is a air gap intake but close to the performer intake
