  • Howell TBI, 258 to 304

    Hello!

Say, I am in need of some Howell expertise... I've got a 258 Howell kit, and I gotta say that it runs awesomely... However, if I was to get a deal on a 304 or 360, I'd want to keep this Howell thing going. I know that Howell sells a 304/360 TBI kit, but I am wondering if I could maintain what I already have and add a few things here and there to adapt it to the V8. Anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks-

    Jeff

How does it perform on extreme inclines?

      Extreme Inclines

Well, I live in northwestern Ohio, so I don't think that there ARE any extreme inclines around here... I've heard that it's good on inclines, but have never experienced it myself. I CAN vouch for it on flat land, however.. Runs great!

Sorry for putting so late, but try this web site:

www.customefis.com The guy used to be an injection designer for GM and builds custom injections for Jeep V8s. Buddy of mine put one in his CJ5 right before we went to Iraq for way less than a $1000. If memory serves me, that is considerably cheaper than Howell.
