  • Top Question?

I hear people mentioning they are putting YJ tops on CJ's. What is required to do the switch?

    A YJ top.

Do you need a top? I have one in GR I could sell you cheap.

yeah, there is just a YJ-top needed, it fits right onto the stock CJ. I had one on my CJ when I bought it and switched back to a CJ top after some idiot thought it would be fun to test his baseball bat on my top...

You need the top and ALL the hardware. They are nice 'cause the don't use snaps, and you can un-zip the windows keeping the "top" on as a sunshade. If you're using full hard doors and want to keep using them, you need a hard door soft top. They make one for hard doors and one for 1/2 doors.

I'm not sure if you were talking soft or hard top. If it's soft.....what I said. If it's hard...do what Penguin said.

                        weight

I'll be looking for a hardtop sometime in the future. is the yj top lighter than the old cj top? which is nicer? i bet it costs a ton to ship em either way.

I've got a Cj soft top c/w doors in the "for sale" section. I can only ship to the states if the buyer has a U.P.S. account. Have a look and let me know.
I was askin' $200.00 but make an offer.
