    will the mid 90's dodge nv4500 bolt directly to the 258 and dana 300 or do you need adapters?

    I'm pretty sure you need adapters. Make sure you get the one with the real low 1st gear. I'm already jelaous.........

            advanced adaptors or novak conversions can both help you out.

              I havnt done any work with a NV4500 but in the looking Ive been doing. I think the dodge 4x4 version with its stock adapter will bolt up to a dana 300. I think the only difference you need to look for with the dana 300 is in the splines and size of the input shaft on the t-case. From what I know the bellhousing will need an adaptor housing for jeep applications. I plan on getting an NV4500 when I can aford it. In about 5-7 years. keep us posted on what you find. Matt
