    Will disconnecting the battery for 5 or 10 minutes reset the trouble cards in my 2002 WJ?

    The guys out in the shop

    dont have a scanner!!??? Thats the best way, but leaving these too long with the battery undone resets alot more than just codes. Go out and shout at the shop.

      No scanner round here that I know of...that's too high tech!

        wow, 4wd doesn't have one?

        anyway, leave it off for about 5 secs, that should reset the code.

            dude we have an OBD2 scanner. Ask Bob he keeps it under wraps. Adam used it on his TJ when it was having O2 sensor problems.

              Best way to reset the codes without reseting your learned maps (shift points, fuel maps etc) is with a scanner. Auto Zone will clear them for you as well as Advanced.
