  • fuel injector trouble

just swapped in a header on my 98 tj with a 6 cyl. everything went fine til it was time to put the injectors back on. i couldnt get them seated very well apparently and now i have a leak from several. should i have replced the orings or is there a trick to seating them i dont know about. also the jeep wants to sputter out and die and idles all over the place( did this before header, htought a clogged cat so fixed that).could hte muffler be clogged? or even the TPS? would the computer at a autozone tell me anything? thanx in advance for any advice

i would replace them and the best way i found to put them in without tearing them and getting them to seat properly is to take some chapstick and rub it around the outside of the o-rings after there on the injectors that will allow them to slide into the whole easier

Replace all the O-Rings to be on the safe side. The chapstick idea is a good one.
