  • Rebuilding a 4.0

i know that some of you out there have rebuilt your 4.0s. I was wondering if there are any parts distributers that mainly deal with Jeep engines, and do the have cataologs or websites? I am looking at put a different cam in during the rebuild, i want to keep it drivable but want a little more power. Any suggestions would be nice. Thanks a lot.

You don't want to be "just" thowing in a different cam. The cam for the 4.0 is well designed for torque.

If you want to learn something about building a 4.0 stroker, check this link http://www.jeep4.0performance.4mg.com/stroker.html
