    Texas Independance Day

    Thanks, Tom. I had five relatives at that battle. A father and four sons. Three fought, while father and youngest son ran supplies for the army. Lost three other relatives going to help Fannin at Goliad. Got caught by Mexican cavalry.
    And that in part, is why this Texan is proud and maybe a little arrogant about my state. My family came here in 1829 and fought for independance .
