  • Buried another WWII Vet today

My Mom. Served in the WAF from 1943 thru 1945. Was honored after pulling a pilot from a burning plane after a crash landing. Fell off of a truck and broke her back which ended her military career. Was very involved in her local DAV for many years, even served as President of it for one year. She had a full Military Funeral. Gonna miss ya Ma.

    Sorry for your loss.
Glad she was able to serve as she did, as I bet the family of the pilot she helped save is also.
A big thanks to her and all those like her.

Red, as others have stated my condolances.

My father in law still with us, was in the war with the Army. From his stories I belive it was some of the proudest days of his life. I belive your Mom would feel the same
