I just started removing old shocks to replace and an upper rear bolt broke....it's a 2001 TJ.....now what? Any easy solutions? I wish they would make designers actually try to replace some TJ parts sometime......thanks for any help. jl

I broke one of mine even using PB Blaster. But you can either use an easy out to try and remove the broken bolt, or you can drill a hole through the bolt and re-tap new threads.

On both my TJ's I drilled out the holes and used JKS BAR PIN Eliminators with longer bolts and lock nut.
