Smile New with Wranglers

Hi everybody, I just got my first wrangler it's a 87 and I'm renovating it. I will like to have it ready for next summer. I want to put 4" lift and 33" tires.
This is my Wrangler

Thanks guys and it will look better after the painting job, the tub renovation ( herculiner + vinyl floor ), new bumpers and new lights ( rear-LED front halogens ) + auxiliary Hella fog lights

Agreed that one looks like it's in great shape for that age.
Congratulations on a good find!
Looks like you've even got a CB antenna mount on the pass. rear.

all YJ's and CJ's have that Tom. its a spare tire bumper. (thats where i mounted my CB antenna though.)

Lifting a YJ 4 inches causes some driveline vibrations so you need a slip yoke eliminator and a new rear driveshaft to alleviate the problem. otherwise your in good shape till you lose an axle shaft, but theres a remedy for that. welcome to the Jeep bug.
