Default Newbie from Shelby, NC

Hey, my name is Julie. Thought I would quit reading over my husband's shoulder and register myself. My husband is Ray Van Buren on this site and he has a 91YJ and a 75 CJ5 that is for sale. I currenly have a 07 JK which I traded a 2000 TJ for. The new one is a lease so I can't get it dirty. It's driving me crazy! So, fortunately the lease will be up soon so I am looking to get an older YJ or TJ. I'm looking forward to not worrying about whether or not it's raining when the top's down.

Can't wait to get my new (old) Jeep so I can mod it. YEAH!

Howdy and welcome! I've been to the drive-in theater in Shelby.

Thanks for the welcome! Love your Mustang. I had a white 65 Mustang and dumb me sold it when I was 20. I've been to that drive-in once or twice.

Default Sweet!

Can't wait to see some pics of that dirty jeep... Is Ray VB any relation to Frank VB? Oh yeah, what kind of shape is the 91 YJ in?

Frank is no relation that I know of. The 91 isn't the one for sale. It's the 75 CJ.

It's still going to be about 18,000 to buy the JK. I can't afford that. I'll probably only have to spend money for a new top and some aftermarket wheels and tires for the older one. That's more like something I can afford.
