the 9inch uses U bolts to hold the u joint, which is weaker than the flange. the only thing I could do to strangthen it is use the next bigger size U joint, which I dont really want to do because then I will have an oddball U joint, all other driveshaft u joints are all the same (so I only pack one spare, it will replace any one joint)

I just gota not bounce the truck so much. I was having a running problem so it made it hard to wheel (idle air control motor was fried and it was fluxuating from 1000rpm to 1500 rpm so it was giving me alot of grief)
